Some of you may have already seen the enclosed pictures ... I collated them into one file 2 days ago ... and debated on whether to send it out or not, because they are truly horrific!!
Vangelis and Jaana (whose shelter GAR supports) went to Kardamena - a popular holiday resort - the day after they heard about the 'tree of horror'. They have witnessed numerous atrocities over the years, but the sight which met their eyes shocked them deeply.  They tried to get the local TV to cover the barbarity, but they felt it was too shocking to show ... besides, the mayor of Kos doesn't want anything but 'good publicity for Kos' reports to be shown on TV. Vangelis tried to get the private channels like MEGA and ANTENNA to report about the matter, but even they felt the 'murder scene' was too horrific to report on.  Vangelis and Jaana are hoping that 'somebody' will talk and lead them to the killer(s).  We are offering 1,000€ reward for information which would lead to the identity of the killer(s). In the meantime, the tree had been cut down and the bodies removed.  The evil sub-human(s) who hanged the dogs is/are still 'out there' ......... he/they MUST be identified and sued, though their punishment would never be sufficient.
